The Parts

The Parts is a photographic series that isolates and fragments the body into discrete elements—faces, limbs, torsos—treated as autonomous units rather than components of a whole. Removed from continuity and context, these images function as a kind of visual inventory: spare parts that can be rearranged, recombined, or withheld.

The work resists stable identity by interrupting bodily coherence, inviting provisional configurations that suggest multiplicity rather than singularity.
